In addition, this constitutes permission to show application photos on the 100% Handcrafted website. Applicants Signature: Date: Juried Craft Fair Rules These terms and conditions are, by reference, a part of your application and become part of the contract once your application is accepted. · Applications will be accepted on a rolling basis through February 1, 2010. Returning crafters and artisans should apply early as popular categories may close prior to this deadline. The event will be opened to new crafters and artisans beginning October 1, 2009. Selection letters will be mailed within 30 days of receipt of application. To ensure balance and fairness to all exhibitors, each classification has a limited number of openings. · All items displayed and sold must be handcrafted by the exhibitor and be first quality. Exhibitors may not include items by other persons. Pre-manufactured parts and imported crafts will not be considered. The Friends of the Raven Players reserve the right to remove anyone not complying with the rules. No refund will be given to exhibitors requested to leave. · Once selected, exhibitors may display and sell only the type of work that was juried. · Contracts are non-transferable. · Exhibitor fee: $60 for a single space (approximately 10 x 10); $120 for a double space (approximately 20 x 20); $90 for a double space if providing ongoing demonstrations or a workshop at least once during the event. The Friends of the Raven Players accepts no responsibility for collecting taxes due. Box 281, Trenton, NJ 08695-0281 · Official craft fair hours are 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. on Saturday, March 20, 2010. · Set up for the show will be from 7:30 a.m. 9:30 a.m. All information necessary for the show will be sent to you in advance or given to you the morning of the show at check in. · Please enter through the back doors of the school to check in and unload, unless otherwise directed. · Exhibitors are responsible for their own setup/breakdown and must provide their own tables and chairs. Event volunteers will be available to help exhibitors transport materials into/out of the building, but are not permitted to set-up/breakdown exhibitor spaces. · Once you have unloaded, please move your car to the parking lot located in front of the high school. · Doors open to the public at 10 a.m., so please be set up and ready to do business. We want to give you plenty of time for set-up. However, we would like our show to be ready and operational when we do open the doors to your customers. · The Friends of the Raven Players reserves the right to oversee booths after set up and also to reject work that is not similar to the work submitted for jurying. · Please do not set up displays, racks, or other items outside of your booth space. We have to comply with fire regulations, therefore we must enforce this rule and keep all aisles, halls, etc., open for people to walk through. · Tents are not permitted. · Crafters may not pack up and leave the show before 3 p.m. You will not be permitted to do the show again if you decide to leave early. It is important that people see the show in full operation, whenever they decide to come. · We will not be responsible for damage to or loss of your personal property or your wares. We do not supply security beyond that necessary to ensure an orderly show. This is why we do not allow set-up on the night before the show. · Free coffee and donuts will be available for all crafters from 8 am 9:30 am. · Smoking is not permitted in the building or on the grounds. · If you have any questions or problems, please visit the volunteer registration table. Our coordinators will be stationed there to answer questions. · There will be no weather cancellations except in a dire emergency, e.g., fire, flood, blizzard, etc. Because advertising and other expenses will have been incurred prior to any emergency cancellation, we will retain one-half of all table fees to cover those costs incurred. However, in the event of an emergency cancellation, you will have made a contribution to a not-for-profit organization and received nothing in return.
