| PLEASE NOTE these terms and conditions. They are, by reference, a part of your application and become part of the contract once your application is accepted: Tables (spaces) for the March 28, 2009 show will cost $50.00. Returning crafters who have requested a change in space will have priority when the requested space becomes available, with first priority being given to those who respond earliest. Returning crafters who respond after May 1st will still receive priority over new participants, but only insofar as our placement schedule allows. We place vendors throughout the year, and late adjustments are often impossible to accommodate. New crafters will be placed by the Craft Fair Committee. Table placement requests will be accommodated as space allows, except in the case of specific unusual circumstances; e.g., a wheelchair-bound crafter will be accommodated with an end table to the best of our abilities. Returning crafters receive priority in placement requests. There will be no refunds after February 1, 2009. Requests for refunds postmarked on or before that date will be honored, but we will withhold a handling fee of $10 to cover our postage and handling costs. Your seniority as a returning crafter will be abandoned with your request for a refund, and we will not be able to guarantee you a space in the following year¡¦s show. Alternately, if you must cancel your reservation, you may request that your table fee be credited toward the following year¡¦s show. This would reserve a space in the 2010 show, and we will do our best to accommodate your space requests (but not at the expense of a returning crafter); otherwise, you will be placed on the waiting list with newcomers and have to await an opening. All crafters are responsible for collecting and reporting New Jersey sales tax on all sales. The PTSA accepts no responsibility for collecting taxes due. Information regarding sales tax collection is available from the New Jersey Division of Taxation: State of New Jersey Division of Taxation Office of Information and Publications PO Box 281 Trenton, NJ 08695-0281 We will not be responsible for damage to or loss of your personal property, or your wares. We do not supply security beyond that necessary to ensure an orderly show. This is why we do not allow set-up on the night before the show. Set up for the show will be from 7:00 ¡V 9:00 am. All information necessary for the show will be sent to you in advance, or given to you the morning of the show at check in. Please enter initially through the front doors of the school to check in and receive your show day materials. We will recommend an entrance for unloading, please move your vehicle near those doors for unloading. Doors open to the public at 9:30 am. We want to give you plenty of time for set-up. However, we would like our show to be ready and operational when we do open the doors to your customers. Please be set up and ready to do business by 9:30 a.m. Free coffee and donuts will be available for all crafters from 7:00 am to 9:00 am. You will receive coupons for these in your folder when you reach your assigned table -- one for you and one for one helper. Please do not set up displays, racks, etc. outside the area of your table. You will have an 8¡¦ x 2 1/2¡¦ table with space behind the table for you and your merchandise. We have to comply with fire regulations; we must enforce this rule and keep all aisles, halls, etc., open for people to walk through. We will try to accommodate your requests for electricity. However, we cannot promise that electrical outlets will be available for all crafters in all spaces. Crafters may not pack up and leave the show before 4:00 pm. You will not be permitted to do the show again if you decide to leave early. It is important that people see the show in full operation, whenever they decide to come. Contracts are non-transferable. Smoking is not permitted in the building or on the grounds. If you have any questions or problems, please visit the PTSA Volunteer Registration Tables near the main entrance to the school. Our coordinators will be stationed there to answer any questions. There will be no weather cancellations except in a dire emergency, e.g., fire, flood, blizzard, etc. Because advertising and other expenses will have been incurred prior to any emergency cancellation, we will retain one-half of all table fees to cover those costs incurred. However, in the event of an emergency cancellation, you will have made a contribution to a not-for-profit organization and received nothing in return. Along with your partial refund, we will provide you with a receipt for your tax-deductible donation to the PTSA.
