Description:

From Collingswood Crafts & Fine Art Festival Website:

Come to the Collingswood Crafts and Fine Art Festival held along historic Haddon Avenue in downtown Collingswood on the third weekend in August each year. More than 150 crafters and fine artists from throughout the United States will offer their latest works at the 9th Annual Festival! Selected by a jury each year, these respected artisans will offer contemporary works of wood, clay, glass, metal and fiber for sale - the newest in hand crafted and exciting visual art.

You'll discover hand-woven clothing, leather belts and handbags, exquisite jewelry (fine and fashion), stained and blown glass, metal yard sculpture, turned wooden bowls, unique outfits for children and so much more- at the Collingswood Festival! Ceramics for home or garden, original watercolors, oils, collage or fine photographs, heirloom toys or whimsical gifts that you have never seen before- can all be found beneath the billowing white tents that span Collingswood's picturesque downtown.

afe dining, a Collingswood highlight, makes the show festive. With choice of more than a dozen fine restaurants, festival-goers can savor Italian specialties, sumptuous seafood, Asian-fusion delicacies, south of the border spices, Indian cuisine, gourmet sandwiches and even the all-American hot dog! Lunch, dinner or dining al fresco- Collingswood can delight all! Be sure to leave room for dessert and munching on a taste of glazed almonds, a funnel cake, kettle corn, ice cream, or shaved Hawaiian ice! There will even be nostalgic soda dispensed in "tin cups" from a chuck wagon!

Smooth jazz and specialty music, perfect for summer strolling, will cheer Festival guests throughout the downtown. Family art activities will include ceramic tile painting, sand art, face painting, beading, and make-and-take crafts for children.

Amazing art buying opportunities will be offered at a silent auction tent of items donated by the Festival artists. Proceeds will benefit the Central and South Jersey Affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure.
