3rd Annual Richland Village Festival

This year the festival will kick off with a parade running from Michael Debbi Park on Cedar Avenue down towards Route 40 and traveling behind the stores in Richland Village and over to the train station. The parade will feature characters from Star Wars, Batman, Star Trek, Ghostbusters and a variety of Cos-play costume characters.

Local children are encouraged to dress in costume and be part of the parade. The Buena Regional High School Marching Band will be playing Star Wards music. There will be famous cars from movies and TV including the Black Beauty from the Green Hornet, the General Lee, two Ghostbusters vehicles and a big yellow Tonka pickup truck.

There will be live music on two stages. At the Gazebo in Saw Mill Park will be the Buena Regional High School Jazz Ensemble, the Buena Regional Middle School Flute Ensemble, oldies group 45 RPM and Raks Sahara Dance Troupe. A separate stage will be set up by the Train Station that will feature saxophonist/singer Lonnie Youngblood and part band Ten Eddy Drive.

The Patcong Valley Model Railroad will be operating their HO trains all day and the Cape May Seashore Lines will be running trains on short trips throughout the day.
