Description:

From Canterbury Art Show Website:

St. George's-by-the-River, with over a century of history, is a spectacular setting for the fabulous artwork we will be hanging within its walls. The Canterbury Art Show...a Tapestry of the Arts, is a premier local exhibition and art sale. Last year over 90 artists chose to participate in the juried and non-juried parts of the show. A panel of jurors help select the "best of the best" from the juried gallery part of the show. This year awards will be presented at the Meet the Artists Reception on Friday, September 1st for Best in Show, Award of Excellence and Honorable Mention.

Proceeds from the Canterbury Art Show will directly benefit St. Georges-by-the-River and its outreach programs. We are proud of the well-organized outreach programs that serve our community. St. Georges makes annual grants to over thirty local agencies including Lunch Break, Family Promise and HABcore, just to name a few. You can learn more about these programs on the Community Outreach page. You can also visit St. George's-by-the-River right now by clicking on the photo of the church at the top of this page.

We actively market the show and reception to New Jersey's art community and our parish of over 400 families. Since the show is being held within our church complex and we are expecting a large turnout, we are giving you the opportunity to purchase tickets in advance for the daytime shows and the reception simply go to the Show and Reception Page for more information about the show and to purchase your tickets.
