The Glen Ridge Art Patrons Association (GRAPA) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to furthering the fine, visual and media arts in the Glen Ridge schools and community. We present the Glen Ridge Arts festival every year in May. Much of the proceeds from this event are dedicated to providing scholarships to students continuing as art majors in college and to acquiring much needed equipment for school art rooms.

The Arts Festival takes place outdoors, rain or shine, in the area adjacent to the Glen Ridge High School on Ridgewood Avenue and along Ridgewood Avenue on the day before Mother's Day in May. There is food, entertainment, student performances and a massive student art show every year with art in multiple mediums displayed from all grades. The festival, a juried show for hand-crafted work, is promoted in a number of local newspapers and their websites, on the Glen Ridge website as well as in crafter guides and publications. The show is also posted on the local access cable TV channel. All work presented for sale is handcrafted by the artist. Any vendor selling imports or buy/sell will forfeit their space and entry fee, and will be required to leave the show. Each accepted vendor will receive a supply of handbills for self-promotion purposes.
