Welcome to the Edgewater Art Council website. Check out the Events Calendar and learn about the artistic and musical happenings which are a vital part of Edgewater's cultural scene.

Our main event, the Edgewater Arts and Music Festival, will take place at the idyllic Shadyside location of Old River Road at Thompson Lane in Edgewater. This year, we celebrate our 27th year at our festival on Sunday, Sept. 9, 2018 from 11:00-6:00 PM. We invite artists and musicians to join us to celebrate the Arts. Parking is free at Edgewater Commons, and a shuttle bus runs continuously from 11:00-6:00.

We are Bergen County's largest juried art competition offering $5,000 in cash prizes in seven art divisions: Best of Show, Art, Photography, Craft, Mixed Media, Fiber Arts and Student competition.

Edgewater is a vital part of New Jersey's Gold Coast. Our annual Festival is Edgewater's most popular cultural event attended by over 4,000 people last year. Come, join us, and enjoy the art created by imaginative, innovative artisans. Listen to the music and savor the food and drinks available from local vendors.
