Over the years, Apple Day has become a local tradition. We are pleased to welcome many of the same families who return year after year because they so enjoy being part of life on a family farm, even for just one day. If you were fortunate enough to attend the first Apple Festival in 1976, you might have sampled fresh apple crisp baked by Gary's mom, helped make our batter-dipped apple rings, and parked your car with assistance from the Mount relatives!
Over 40 plus seasons, our family, apple orchards and enthusiasm for apples continue to grow bigger and stronger. Over the years our popular Apple Day stretched into a full weekend and we added a series of Fall Family Fun weekends through the end of October. Now with 34 apples varieties to pick from, we're turning the entire season into Apple Days Fall Festival Weekends to celebrate our abundant apple harvest. Join us on any or all weekends, from September 15 through October 28 to experience the joy of fall on our farm.

A Weekend of Fun
We've planned a whole weekend of fun for everyone grandparents, moms, dads, and children of all ages! We'll have farm tractor wagon rides and horse-drawn wagon rides, pony rides, and pumpkin painting. Visit our adventure barn to see what stories and farm fun you can see. Each year, the Terhune Orchards farm staff spends the year planning a new and fun theme for the barn. Our amazing Corn Stalk Maze is a walk through a cornfield can you find you way out? Fun for kids our hay bale maze.
Try your hand at some "farmer" chores by feeding the animals and picking some apples and pumpkins. Say hello to our yellow Labrador dogs, Apple and Peach.
Bring your appetite!
After walking in the country air, you won't be able to resist the delightful aromas beckoning from Pam's Food Tent. Join us for lunch again this year. Watch the pig roast in an outdoor roasting pit. There's nothing like a fresh pork sandwich. Our "Everything Apple " buffet will include fresh apple pies, apple cider donuts, apple salad, apple muffins, and lots of other apple goodies and, of course, traditional fare of hot dogs, soup, chicken, pies, cider and more.
Live Entertainment
Relax in the shade and listen to local live country music from 12pm-4pm while dunking your donut in some of Terhune Orchards' savory hot or cold fresh-pressed cider.
Pick-Your-Own
Empire, Stayman Winesap, and Red Delicious apples by the pound. Terhune Orchards dwarf apple trees make it easy. No ladders, no climbing. The apples are within easy reach.
Scout our five-acre pick-your-own pumpkin patch to find that special Halloween pumpkin. We have pumpkins of all sizes and shapes.
